inkBalance is licensed, not sold. Purchasing a license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software according to the terms of your selected plan.

Usage

You may use inkBalance for personal or business purposes. You may not redistribute, sublicense, resell, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the software unless permitted by applicable law.

Ownership

inkBalance, including its source code, design, branding, documentation, and related intellectual property, remains the exclusive property of its owner. No ownership rights are transferred through the purchase or use of a license.

Termination

Licenses obtained through fraud, chargebacks, unauthorized distribution, or other violations of these terms may be suspended or revoked without notice.

Warranty

inkBalance is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every system configuration.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the owner of inkBalance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-related damages arising from the use or inability to use the software.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of inkBalance after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

When purchasing a license, we collect the email address used during checkout. This email is used to associate, deliver, recover, and manage your license.

Purpose

Collected information is used solely for licensing, purchase verification, customer support, license recovery, and software update services where applicable.

Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Payment card information is handled directly by Lemon Squeezy and is not stored or processed by inkBalance.

Cookies

The inkBalance website does not use tracking, advertising, or marketing cookies.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties except when required to process payments, comply with legal obligations, or provide requested services.

Storage

License-related information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide licensing, support, and recovery services.

Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect stored information. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

Software Communication

inkBalance operates locally on your computer. The Hero edition may periodically check for available software updates. No document contents are transmitted during this process.
